For those of you who could not make Friday’s meeting, you missed out on a nice spread from Bike Authority! (Many thanks on behalf of CTC for being fabulous hosts)
Here is a brief summary of the announcements:
Upcoming Events-
This Friday, 3/4 - Interclub Social at Lakewood Winking Lizard, 6-10 PM
Friday, 3/4- Saturday 3/5 – Grand Opening Sale at IDUTRI’s new store in Olmstead Falls
Saturday, 3/12 – Join CTC out at the St. Malachi Road Race. Stop by CTC table and say hi, participate and if you can volunteer to help pass out post race refreshments to 3000 plus racers! And join us for the post race party at McCarthy’s!

Saturday, 3/26 – Retroday at Northface Store on Chagrin Blvd in Woodmere. Retro pricing for many North Coast MultiSports and CTC will be out there accepting memberships.
April 16th CTC Duathlon (9 AM) at Brecksville Reservation followed by CTC Swap Meet (11-1 PM)
May 6th- 8th - CTC Training Camp at Mohican. This will offer all the great things from last year at the unheard of triathlon training camp bargain price of only $75 per person (Saturday only is $35).
This includes well planned group training plans, coaching advice, all food for the weekend, Gatorade, a cookout Saturday evening and a supportive, encouraging environment to meet other triathletes!
Much of the camp will be geared toward clinics and newbies. There will also be options for the more experienced triathletes who just want to get in some hard core training in the beautiful Mohican area. More information is available here. Reserve your spot today!

Member Benefits-
1. Our organization provides weekly activities for training. You can go to as many as you like.
2. We have an on-line forum to ask other Team Members questions on races, training, injuries, and other relevant topics to the Multisport Lifestyle.
3. We help you find new people to train and race with and help foster the development of new friendships.
4. We have fun social activities and monthly meetings to keep you informed about Club activities.
5. Cleveland Triathlon Club provides occasional clinics on all aspects of triathlons including swim stroke analysis, biking skills, transitions, running workouts.
6. We are a club for the people and by the people. We accept all-comers. We are just a large group of people promoting Heath and Wellbeing.
7. We have members that are beginners and professionals. We have members that do not race, race short distances, Ironman distances and everything in-between. We have had members lose 100 pounds by pursuing a new Multisport Lifstyle. Our goal is to help each other achieve their individual Multisport and life goals.
8. You will gain so many new and positive experiences by joining that we cannot describe them all. Join and you will find out first hand what other offers our Team has for you.

Ultimately, we are a community, a community of people that shares the joys of competition. Whether your goal is to enjoy swimming/biking/running, to finish your first race, or to win a race, we are the club for you. At our events, you’ll find cheering as loud for the first place as for the last finisher. Success is measured by the effort you provide not by the place you finish. Being a participant is our measure of success.
We passed out sponsor codes. This information is available to 2011 dues paying members. IF YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP, SIGN UP TODAY. OFFICIAL MEMBERSHIP DRIVE GOES THROUGH 3/31!
Spring Gear Order- We will be rolling this information out VERY VERY SOON. Turnaround will be quick so that people can get there clothing back early in the race season. The designs will be in keeping with last year. Prices will also be very similar. The big difference will be in a much larger product offering. Visors, Long sleeve singlets, arm warmers, swimming suits and MORE! We will be collecting money with the order so SAVE your pennies now! Look for more in the near future!
The NEW CTC WEBSITE- After a LONG runway, you will be seeing the NEW very exciting website soon which will offer much more functionality and much more information. If you have thought the current one was a little dated, that is part of the reason why….the club has been focusing on getting the new one up and running!
Summer Events—Lots to come! Club Picnics, Big Swim (7/2*), GCT Training Dates (5/21, 6/18, 7/23) , REV 3 Training Dates (7/23, 8/20*) and LOTS of training and racing of course! (*Dates are tentative)
Then Sean Gilbert, Bike Authority Bike Fitter and Coach ran through Emergency Repairs.
The meeting concluded and the gang headed next door to BW-3’s for more fun.
