Stephe,
You do not need to RSVP but posting on the forum that you are planning on attending will allow me to get an idea of how many people will be at any one event prior to the event.
Just show up and have fun!

Hey, I want to come to the Bonnie park run workout. The metroparks website won't open the page for Millstream. Can someone give me directions from the turnpike. Please?? :-)

Stephe,
Take the turnpike to the Strongsville exit and follow Route 42 (Pearl Road) South to Valley Parkway. Turn left onto valley parkway and turn right at the first stop sign. This is Bonnie Park's parking lot.

Hi, I'm new to the club and was thinking of coming to the newbie clinic on May 22nd. Is there a schedule listed as to what will be happening? Not sure what I will need to bring. Thanks!

Bike and helmet (any other accessories you need for a bike ride)

Tim,
Thanks again for getting my bike back online Sunday! Did another hill workout yesterday and was able to get back into the small ring.
I recommend as many people to attend these events! They are well run and the veterans are more than willing to answer any questions you have.
Keep up the good work Tim.

I have a silly question, but I'm also newer to triathlons. I'd like to come to some of the open water swim stuff, but where is Columbia Beach / Monroe Falls? Thanks! Heather

Hey Tim, I am thinking I might head down for the open water swim at Monroe Falls this Friday.
I can help out if you need it, or I can just swim around if you don't!
See you there!

Tomorrow's open water swim is at Mentor Headlands. We will be practicing open water swimming, starts, exits, and open water navigation. See you then!

How long do you plan on swimming?? and do you have to be a member, one of my friends signed up for Huntington and wants to get some more practice.

We will swim for as long or as short as anybody wants to. It is totally taylored around the group that shows up.
Your friend is welcome to come. The more the merrier.
We will be meeting at the furthest parking lane from the entrance. The entire length of the open part of the beach is 5/8 of a mile each way. Somebody asked about distance at Huntington.

Tim - By length of the open part of the beach, do you mean parking lot-to-parking lot? You are not including the section just to the east of the last parking lot (where the smaller strip of land starts and extends to the lighthouse), correct? Just double-checking - I usually swim from the section that starts at the far east side of the beach out to the lighthouse. Not sure how long that stretch is, but there are less swimmers to navigate during prime beach time.
Courtney
(Sorry I missed this group swim yesterday - I had a car in the shop!)

If you look at the satellite imagery it is from the West set of trees to the East set of trees. That is about 5/8 of a mile.

Tim cannot make it to the open water swim tonight (8/3) at Columbia, but I will be there to help out instead.
I can answer any questions and take a group out closer to shore if you are nervous about swimming with the big group.
We will, of course, have to keep an eye on the weather today as there might be some t-storms this afternoon.

Again I will not be able to make it out to the Monroe Falls Newbie swim. (Why is it so labor intensive to buy / sell a house?). There will be a group out at the lake tonight so if you were planning on coming out, you won't be swimming alone.
