A little more info: These guys are doing their Tri at Wildflower. Having been there before (and going again this year !), the Team N' Training folks have a huge presence at Wildflower and raise a ton of money for a really good cause. They are also well supported in the Cleveland area with good coaching for their athletes (some of their coaches are fellow CTC members). This is certainly a worth-while fund raiser and if you can make it out for some great chow - especially you east-siders - I'm sure Mike and the folks would appreciate the support.

Can't make the fundraiser due to chicklet obligations, but I've contacted Mike and will definitely give him a contribution. Having lost a dear friend to Leukemia in 2002, this organization is dear to my heart! I do Light the Night Walk every September in Jim's memory. It's a special day I get to remember how much he meant to me and we raise $ for L/L foundation. Mike and I had a good laugh because I used the acronym T in T because TIT just sounded ... wrong! He told me they go by TNT Hope you'll support Mike!!! First off, it's a great cause - it probably touches each of our lives, not unlike breast cancer or prostate cancer. Second, and this is HUGE ... this is MIKE'S FIRST TRIATHLON!!!! He's jumping in with both feet to do a 70.3!!!! The man has gonads of steel! So, we see him each week at spin class and afterward at swimming - all of this is very new to him. He's working hard on stroke mechanics and each week I see it improving. Good luck Mike!! And to Daryl too, he was my swim lane partner at the indoor tri and also doing the TNT. Good luck guys! You are amazing.

Please note that Team in Training will also be supporting the Greater Cleveland Triathlon & Duathlon this year.
For each event that they participate in with TNT these individuals will be raising dollars for the cause. This will be a very difficult year for any type of fund raising, so I would ask that you support these individuals when and where possible.
Team in Training has been around for over 20 years and was the original "race for a cause" concept team
