I didn't know the new hero of the country was a triathlete. Now I like Scott Brown even more for helping to derail the Obama spending machine and health care fiasco. He and the wise people of MA provided a nice dose of reality for the arrogant young president and majority party who were going to ram it down our throats and didn't give a d**n if we liked it or not.
And you just gotta love whacko Keith Olberman. He and the other MSNBC lunatic Chris (thrill up my leg) Matthews are having strokes over the guy who is responsible for hurting their idol.

Being able to break up a filibuster proof majority seems good to me.
It restores one of the checks and balances or founding fathers intended.
They saw man as inherently evil and who needed to be restrained from absolute power.
They knew how bad a king or any man was with full control.
It is not good for either party to have full control.
Gridlock is not a bad thing.

Hey Sid, No crossing over for me that picture was compliments of Aussie on a previous thread and I adopted it. My theme is that the real HOPE is guys like us and the voters in MA who see the train coming down the tracks aka The Obama Administration and will work to derail it before our grand kids have to learn to speak Chinese.
It is comforting to see that the Euphoria (sorry Kyle ;D) over our symbolic president has given way to some reality. Hope he sees that and will begin to govern as he said he would during the campaign not like a monarch with too much power.
