I had a sip from a co-worker. It tasted REALLY good. Other than than, I don't know much (it's supposed to be on powerful antioxidant).

Yes, I ve had it as well. It tased fine. However, MONA VIE is a pyramid selling company that sells hugely overpriced juice in wine bottles. My parents had someone present it to them and the whole thing was based on sales and brightly colored sports cars and working from home, not the juice. I recomend Bolthouse Farms, Bomdia. It's 1/4 of the cost and just as effective. ($7 compared to $30) Plus you can buy it at Giant Eagle. That's just my opinion.

The anti-oxidant content of acai is well documented. If you are concerned about free radicals then I suppose it might be a good supplement for you. There are many other supplements that are great anti-oxidants also (including coffee!) many of which are less expensive.
What is special about acai is that the anti-oxidants are highly concentrated (I like grapefruit seed extract for this same reason), but since we cannot get any fresh acai juice here in the U.S. I would suggest searching for the purest form you can get (not from concentrate, organic, etc.) The nutritional value of plants begins to decline as soon as they are picked and is further diminished during processing. Christian makes a good point that mona vie is not the only supplier of acai and that they are likely overpriced. Shop around, talk to the supplement guru at your local specialty grocer (mustard seed, whole foods) to get their opinion.
