Yesterday evening, a friend and I, were running at Station Bridge Trail Head in Brecksville, and one could of thought we were about to be a black bears dinner...... Running on the, bridal/ horse trails to the west, we were passing a small parking lot hidden by the tall grasses, unaware what was about to happen...... Just getting in the first half mile of our run, Jason was pumped up because we are training for the CVNPA Fall Trail Running Series and he started a little song followed by a clap......... Then, bamm!
The black dog left his owner, as he was getting ready to put the leash on Little Black Bear, the dog attacked...... He divided us a part from one another, and I was left face to face with em....... Well, we looked eye to eye, fang to fang, and managed to stand our ground without injury or death......... Talk about an adreniline rush,...
Jason, said he was poised to give the dog a swift kick, so we could be both be on our way, yet "fido"----medium sized black dog with lots of fur------aka little black bear was just out to scare the crap out of some runners............
