Do they have a chance to survive in this country?....
Ford looks safe, as well as Honda and Toyota......

Of course GM has a good chance at survival. I have never yet seen a car company fail that was being run by a community organizer who never operated or even worked for a business.
Hope you like white Pruis's they will probably be mandatory soon.
I trust I didn't break the new forum rules ;D

That's okay jack. I think you are grandfathered in. How is the knee, by the way?

Just not sure if our goverment can continue to run american companies...... Yea, they think fixing the financial system is the important thing, and everything else should should slowly fix itself.... ? Solution or Hopes?
GM and Chrysler, well, just like the financial system, scratch our heads, make a few changes, and throw money at em, that has been borrowed from where? And hope for the best....
From CNN to the local news, nobody seems to have a positve view as of yet.... I only hope GM can recover....... Chrysler too.....

Thanks Ben. I keep thinking the knee is better then I take a step back. Last night I ran on the treadmill for two miles and then did about fifteen minutes of a spinning class and felt great. This morning the knee is very stiff again and a little sore. This could be a very light season for me if it doesn't improve soon.
I would like to do the Akron Marathon if I can get it together but right now I am not optimistic.

New York is in November. I'm in the lottery. You should be good to go by then. Why not take the first part of the season and become an elite swimmer? There are a more open water races this year than ever. Do some tris as a relay and anchor the swim. Next year you will notice a huge difference in your swim times.

Hey that is a nice idea Ben. I hadn't thought about trying to find a bunch of open water swims. Don't think I will ever be considered elite but it will probably improve my swim a lot. Maybe I will work on that. Thanks.
Hey I think Matt Collister's prediction post just was validated again. We hijacked a politics thread and talked triathlon. ;D
