I didn't think I'd have another concert series like I did last year... but, the good shows (in my modest opinion) are growing, and I'm doing my damndest to help revive the economy (until I lose my job !!). So, here's the current line up: Have tix already: Disturbed, et. al., May 3rd @ CSU Kid Rock / Lynard Skynard, July 10 @ Blossom Godsmack / Motley Crue / Drowning Pool, etc., July 21 @ Blossom Considering: Queensryche, May 5th @ HOB We usually go out for drinks & wings before the shows, so, if anyone is into any of this, get yourself some tix and let me know. I'll let you know where were meeting...

Airborn Toxic Event are hip and cool....which basically means they ain't nuts and will be never heard of again after this summer. I kinda like Kings of Leon.
88.3 WBWC plays a lot of their stuff.

I caught, The Airborne Toxic Event, on the David Letterman Show and was blown away with their sound. Go to YouTube, www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BNzKXETa2QTheir debut album is good and their U.S. shows are selling out........

Yeah, I'm about to pull the trigger on Metallica tickets right now as they went on sale this morning at 9 AM.
Dropkick Murphy's I am a fan of, have some of their stuff on my IPod. They are the Boston guys with bagpipes and stuff. Definitely a very original sound. Love their version of Amazing Grace.

Music as a Weapon with Disturbed has had a venue change!
It will now be at the Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City instead of at the Wolstein Center.
Just got home from work and there was a message from Ticketmaster on the ol' answering machine, figured I'd give you guys a heads up.

I still have remnants of the bruises on my ribs, but my nose doesn't hurt that much anymore.
That was the best show ive been to in a few years.

Definitely an awesome show. I still don't know if I've completely recovered.....
Aussie - when you returned from the pit with your sunglass lens missing and a cut on your chin I believe that was the hardest I've laughed in a long long time.

I'll be at Metallica, too... also with Phil at CrueFest.
Doren and I are going to the [glow=red,2,300]Ratt[/glow] show on Saturday, August 1st. Tix are cheap (18 beans plus ticketmaster fees = $23) if you by 'em by the 4-pack. We bought 2 4-packs and have 7 peeps going so far. I have one extra right now if there is any interest. Its at the HOB - great, small venue to see your favorite 80's hair bands !!

Well - the 2009 head-bangin' concert fest came to an end with the best one yet. Phil, Danielle, and I and about 15 of our peeps rocked HARD last night. So hard, that I showed up for work 3 hours late (ouch) - good thing I had a free pass from the boss... Rough day - but worth it !! Metallica puts on one incredible show...

Amazingly Danielle and I made it to work on time. An amazing show.
Favorite part of the night was when Hetfield said "This next song is somewhat heavy." Also Master of Puppets was phenomenal live.
