I'd like to ski, but I don't snowboard.

Sorry, BM/BW too short and flat. I ski Western Ny just about every weekend. We do have one race at BM Feb 1, that is only time I plan on skiing local unless theres no school and I take my daughter.
Have fun, ski safe. Debbie

I wonder if there are others like me who are interested in taking you up on your invitation but need some beginner how to before joining up. Maybe we could organize a training session (formally or informally) for an initial outting? Its been a couple seasons since I've been on a snowboard but think I might be ready to get out there again.

I drove by Boston Mills tonight and was a little suprised to see they're open, with a bunch of customers on the slopes. I haven't skied in many years, but might be talked into it.

Craig, it sure was nice to get a warm ski day as today. i was there racing with the Cleveland Metro race program. Only weekend we're home for another month. If any one interested we have a few spots on our one day trip to Holimot in Ny. Holimont is a private ski area on the other side of Holiday Valley. We leave early in the morning so we are there when it opens and ski a full day. Lifts close at 4:20. WE are back on the bus by 5pm and we get home by 9ish just in time to kiss the kids goodnight. Guardentee NO LIFT LINES, great conditions and a big party on the bus. Bloody mary's and continental breakfast served on way up, beer and wine with subs on way back. check out www.fagowees.org/docs/20090225Holimont.pdf, we have only a few spots left and every year we have a waiting list. Come call in sick and ski with us. email me if you have any questions debbie
