Field limit increased to 200, but as of yesterday had 196 entries. Get your payment in yesterday if you want in. There will be a wait list in the event people cancel. I'm joining some people Sunday at 10:00 for a run in the area, plan is 2 hours on the trails. Meet at Happy Days, more info at verticalrunner.com bullitan board, under group runs.

Save something for the end; the last few miles of the loop have the most hills.

and we have to do that twice. What "food" is supplied? Do we need to carry a map?

I've run the loop twice now with Lloyd. There are a lot of turns, and easy to get off course if you try to run it with just the map. I'm confident Lloyd will have it very well marked. Plus, I'd guess at least 40% of the entrants have run the course, so just follow the leader. The trail is very rocky around Kendall ledges, so be sure to pay extra attention to your foot placement. There's a good chance I'll ware my tri club jersey, so be sure to say hi.

Signed up for the 25k. Ran the course 2 1/2 weeks ago, and hurt my knee. Have only done 3 runs of about 3 miles each since then, so not too sure I'll be able to finish it.
Gonna try about 5 miles of trail tonight in North Chagrin and see how it goes.

Lloyd put on a fantastic race. Got a great pair of trail running shorts and a North Face tote bag. If anyone wants to try out a trail race, keep this one in mind for next year. I made it about 9 or 10 miles before my knee gave up, and I walked it in about 2 miles to the start.
