Why is it that every time I think I am getting a great deal on Ebay, the auction is cancelled. Does this only happen to me or anyone else? It always is tri stuff, ( but that is what I buy on ebay) This has happened on wheels, pedals, whole bikes, and now garmin 305.

Maybe it's a good thing. Might not be legitimate listings. Ebay sometimes pulls listings from scammers.

In case you might be interested, Costco (http://www.costco.com/) has a pretty good deal on the garmin 305 on their site with a price of $159.

Maybe it's a good thing. Might not be legitimate listings. Ebay sometimes pulls listings from scammers. this is very true a couple of years ago when I was looking for a Tri bike I found some listings that seemed to good to be true and they were scams. I began to look for them and turn them in to E-bay. There was a point where I was turning in 2000 of them a week. When i would find one listing it always led to others. I could find 500 in less than 15 minutes. They would hijack someone elses account and then list many things. all were high item and always at a "to good to be true price" It made me so mad that I was busting them every day. They always asked for outside contact. Almost always from an eastern Europe address. I had asked e-bay what they could do about it and they said basically was what I was doing. if any seem like a fraud turn them in. If it was cancelled there was a good reason. mike
