During this 4 part workshop, Christine Hunt, RD, LD will teach you how to make healthy eating a part of your overall lifestyle.
Weekly topics will include:
• General nutrition overview
• Nutrition and exercise—taking it to the max
• Eating for your health
• Healthy holiday eating
• Stress eating
• Weekly healthy cooking tips—including how to improve your favorite holiday recipe
Every week you will walk away with healthy recipes, nutrition tips and goals to work on. You will also have weekly opportunities to sample some great healthy foods.
1st session starts Starts Saturday November 29th at 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Cost--$200 for 4 1 ½ hour sessions
BIO ON INSTRUCTOR:
Christine Hunt, RD, LD
Christine is a registered and licensed dietitian, earning her bachelor’s of science from the University of Akron in 2000. Her extensive experience as a dietitian include both individual and group consulting on various health topics including weight management, disordered eating, food allergies, and nutrition as it relates to chronic disease prevention and management. Christine’s training and expertise cover both the pediatric and adult population in various settings including hospitals, schools, community organizations and corporations.
Christine is a member of the American Dietetic and the Ohio Dietetic Association. Additionally, she received her certificate of training in childhood and adolescent weight management from the American Dietetic Association in 2003.
Her professional experience has taught her that what she enjoys doing the most is working with clients on an individual and group level, teaching them how to maximize their health by focusing on their eating and lifestyle behaviors.
As a mom of 3 small children, Christine understands the difficulty of juggling a family, work and personal health all at the same time. She uses this experience to help clients with goal setting that ultimately helps them improve their eating habits and overall health.
