So I think that I am maybe coming down with an affliction that I have seen amongst some of the CTC contingent. Given that I am a doc, I can (athough I shouldn't) self-diagnose my illness. Now that it is a mere 8 days after IMKY, I am feeling the symptoms of this new disease. These symptoms were not present after IMWI '06 and began oh so insidiously. First it was the continuous computer usage following the members of the CTC in yesterday's IMWI. Today it is the repetitive opening of the Ironman website to see which races are still open. The third symptom is that I have begun to plot the logistics of any possible event i.e. airfare, hotel cost, can i get others to join me, whether my wife would even come, etc. The fourth and final symptom, I suspect, is forking over the cash. I hope that I can resist the addiction but my resolve is weakening. I had mentally promised myself no IM until I turn 40 (in 4 years) then I thought "how about in two years?" Help me please. . .What can I do to fight the pain of addiction?

If Louisville didn't cure you, you may be out of options. If you decide on Mexico, can I get a ride with you?

We all have to hit rock bottom before we can truly begin to heal ourselves.
Do it!
I'm already excited about IMKY 09!

Registering is the only cure. Life is too short. Do it while you can.
