Does anyone know of any groups of swimmers that meet on the eastside for new triatheletes? I just completed the Fairport Harbor Triathlon & will be doing the Greater Cleveland next week. My swimming definitely needs some help, and training on my own gets to be a drag.
Thanks for any advice.

hey eric!
sunday evenings there are a couple of people who meet at headlands tuesday ams there is a group that meets in fairport thursday ams there is a group that meets at wildwood
also if you have a place that you like swimming or a specific time you can always post in the training section that you are looking for some swimmers! honestly, the pace that you swim doesn't matter as much as having others around for safety.
good luck!!!

Just FYI, I was also just told that Hathaway Brown is going to be offering masters swimming on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Saturday mornings. I've swum there a couple of times before, and the pool is really nice.

Hey Eric, Check out OHIO MASTERS swimming site at www.ohiomasters.com/Click on the pools section and you'll find some great groups to swim with......I can attest to the Orange and Shaker groups.......Orange is a great atmosphere with coach Pete and the Shaker group is very good too with some very focused people - although that may be also due to the early mornings for the Shaker group. Anyhow, both groups are great and offer an excellent chance at improving your swimming while having fun aswell.
