Just curious who's doing what?
I'm in for Kentucky (assuming i can web register). If that fails, i'll go back to Wisconsin.

I am very tempted to do Wisconsin. The problem is, I don't know where I'll be living next year or what my schedule will be. Sucks that you have to register a year ahead of time! If I knew last year what I know now I would have registered for IMAZ for this fall. Ah, well, such is life!

in IMAZ
I love the day before sign up for the racers now.. U R gauranteed a race spot for that race, for the following year..
But, Just wondering if it will make it harder to get into certain races via the online sign-ups...

No plans to do one at the moment. If I get the itch bad enough, I will most likely head overseas again.

With finishing college next year, not having a career set and really no idea where I will be, I'm unforntunately leaving 2009 off my list of years for Ironman. Hopefully in 2010 I'll be doing CoD or New Zealand.

I wanted to sign up for Lakeplacid, but I have fallen in love with the wisconsin course couple weeks ago. I know LP is beautiful but harder to get to and more expensive to take family to. I just don't know what I will do yet. I just don't think hubby could stand if I did a third doulbe, but who knows!!

If IMKY stays open long enough for me to raise the needed money I will be in. If not I may join Charlie in parts South aka Mexico.

Trying to decide between the Philip Morris MarlboroMan (or, maybe I'll just do the half) and the Miller High Life Walk of Shame.
Aussie Rob - thanks for the brews.

Mark
Ask you GF at the Lakewood Village Tavern - I believe she has won both Malboro and Miller several times - she definately has the physique to prove it

Mark, there are no real qualification standards. But let me just tell you that if you're not up to two packs a day, regularly, for a year or so, stay home. These are some serious competitors.

It would be cool to see more activity on this thread.
It is now officially 2009 and, as Rob stated earlier, it would be nice to know where everyone is going this year.
I am headed to IM Coeur d'Alene and IM Canada.

If you're interested, the Bike Authority/Fleet Feet tri team site has an events manager that members identify what races they'll be attending. If you want to; go to the link below, and click on a specific race and it tells you who, from that team will be attending. clevelandtri.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_eventlist&Itemid=55
