As a newbie i'm finding that i'm having a hard time getting my weekly rides in - Are there any groups that meet on the near east side or near west side during the week?

Define near West side...
There is a Monday night brick (you can skip the run part if need be) that leaves from Sweet Water landing at about 5:30pm.
There is a Wednesday night ride that leaves out of Spin Bike shop at about 6:15pm.

Aussie- I realize that three weeks "Down Under" may have taken away your reading skills or I'll chalk it up to jet lag but according to the front page of this website (that is the page page you blow by to get to the forum because you have nothing better to do with your time) the Monday night brick is at 5:30PM. So go drink another Foster's and eat a Bloomin' Onion and 'Don't come the raw prawn' with me buddy.
Or should I just say HTFU!
P
Beside neither of us caught that Bridget was looking for a DAY group to ride with.

I ride down to the bricks myself and lock my bike in the bed of someones truck, or just lock it to someones car. Most people drive down to the brick.

rob and paul - you are both correct
Paul is correct the front page does read 5:30 - that needs to be changed (today i think) - it is a typo - we did move the start time back to 6 just so everyone knows as Rob mentioned
I'll take the blame for the screw up ;]
