At the Univ. of Akron indoor sprint on 4/20 I had real fast swimmers on both sides of me and after the first lap I was history and abandoned good form trying to push it. The only thing that it got me was farther behind and extra tired. I knew this was a mistake but it happened anyway. On workouts since then I keep my form and I am faster than I was at the race. The moral of the story is just keep your form and don't worry about those crazy fast swimmers.

Good advise. Don't worry about how others are racing - focus on you own effort and stay within your skills....
