I need some forum help on this one. Yesterday, I was biking through the metroparks, particularly the Strongsville, North Royalton section since it is close to work, and I saw numerous people smoking. Granted the weather is just starting to turn for the better and everyone I'm sure has a case of cabin fever or SAD but the amount of people I saw walking on the path and smoking was almost epidemic. I cant really generalize these people into a subset, some were a bit overweight, some were skinny, male, female, old and young. My question is were they just out to enjoy the weather? If they were/are so conscious about the benefit of exercise in relation to their health how can they be so blind to what they are doing to themselves with cigarettes? I find it kinda humerous that people will drive to the metroparks to take in the fresh air and nice weather only to fire up a smoke and then when done throw the butt onto the ground. This really boggles my mind.
edit: title change

In Ohio, the great outdoors is the last place you can smoke.

It's going away too.
Reddy and i got interviewed on Sunday by channel 5 regarding our opinions on the impending smoking ban inside the metroparks.
