Okay question ladies.
I've worn the Nike Running Skirts and I have had to buy XS because otherwise the waist band seems to hang on me.
I am wondering if this is common with other brands of running skirts too. (I normally wear small shorts)
Specifically I need to order a Mizuno Running skirt and will not have time to go try it on. My size specifics lead me to believe I need a small but I am wondering if maybe I should get an XS to be safe. (They are stretchy!)
Anyone tried on both a Nike and Mizuno Running skirt for comparison? I have to order tomorrow AM.
Also I would like to get a pair of arm warmers for Boston in case it is chilly in the morning. I'd like to get navy blue to go with my skirt and top, anyone know of a company that sells navy blue (or white if I have to) arm warmers at a decent price for skinny little arms?
Thanks for any help!

I don't wear skirts, well at least in public, but maybe you could go try one on at the store first?

Hi Elizabeth,
I haven't had any luck with the skirts to run in. They look so cute on other people, but I end up with an inappropriate running thong under the skirt (moving comfort & sugoi are the ones I tried). Perhaps I should try the Nike skirt.

Originally I didn't have time to go to the store (order has to go out quickly) but now I do, am not confident they will actually have Mizuno skirts at any of the stores though so advice would still be appreciated!
Katy,
The Nike skirts were SHORT! But I didn't flash anyone at Tampa and despite the shorts riding up a little bit I had no chafing, so I think I am a convert. If our jerseys were bright pink I would just wear shorts but navy blue is such a manly color I feel I need to girl up the outfit a bit hence the skirt.

Sorry I can't help you out here--I made the mistake of trying a few on in January that were on the clearance rack...ooooooooooooohhhhhh boy. WAY too soon. Not a good idea. I might give 'em a try this spring again though!

Saturday afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods (Crocker Park), I saw Nike running skirts marked down to something like $35. Unfortunately, they didn't have a size L in black, and I didn't think the navy would go with the black in my CTC gear.
I'm mentioning this because it seemed like L was the only size they didn't have in stock, and I'm sure there are plenty of CTC women who wear the other sizes.

I ran down to VR this weekend and they had some of the Mizuno skirts. Small definitely felt baggy on me. So I guess I just like really small skirts! As for the arm warmers VR is going to order me some white Sugoi ones, lets just hope I don't go into sticker shock when I get the price Now I just need to find a sweet pair of white/navy white shades and my outfit will be complete!

I have white framed Rudy Projects with blue lettering.
I say go with white tube socks for arm warmers. toss 'em at someone when you don't need them anymore.
