Our next member meeting will be Friday evening, April 11 at Fleet Feet Northfield. Come at 6pm for pizza/shopping/socializing and we'll start the brief meeting at 6:30.
Think of this one more as a social event than a meeting - we will cover a little club stuff, field questions, update you on gear orders, and maybe have a featured speaker (we will announce prior), but really, just come for the pizza, people, and beers afterward. You can also SHOP at one of our great sponsor stores!

We have a guest speaker for our upcoming member meeting!
Jeff Lambert-Shemo, ATC JLS Fitness, LLC JLSFitness.com
Jeff is a CTC member and is going to talk about "Strength and Flexibility" - two topics often touched on our Forum.
Be there!

A Huge "THANK YOU" for the great meeting at Fleet Feet (my first meeting in my 4 year membership.....Shame on me!) It was great to meet all of you and I look forward to being more involved with the club. Another Huge "THANK YOU" for adding XTERRA to the forum.

Thanks again - Brian

It was great meeting some new folks - and some old ones I had never met before. Thanks again to Fleet Feet for allowing us to take over for awhile. And to Jeff Lambert-Shemo for an informative presentation!

I was sorry i couldnt make it I actually started heading there a little late and ran into stopped traffic at Chagrin Blvd so I knew I would really be late and decided to bag it. I heard good reviews about Jeff's talk and wish I would have heard it.

At the meeting one of the board members ( I do not remember her name) she talked about training stuff.
She said somebody , I think Mark something? was going to have some kind of running clinic or training.
What was that again? where ? when? who can be apart of it?

Mike, we are working on putting together a running clinic with Mark Gorris. It is still in very preliminary planning stages and I will post up more information as we figure it out. It should be very valuable and everyone will be welcome to attend.

Lord knows some of us really need a clinic like this. I've seen people before run so odd that they cut their ankles with the other foot. It's a bloody mess.

To all who made it to the meeting this past April 11th, just wanted to get some input with, implementing Jeff's techniques with his, stretching, strength, and conditioning.
I have found using the "rubber excercise band" to be a great addition to my, stretching, and, push-ups and sit-ups as well.
Jeff, thanks again for making it a great meeting this past April.
Getting ready to hit the "Big 40" this July, I have gained better flexibility as I have aged. It surprises me that I, am not just able to touch my toes stretching, I am able to grab my feet and hold the stretch for a solid minute. Running back in High school and College, I laughed at the fact that I was not able to do that back then, and now stretching better than ever. ;D
This has complimented by biking and my running! Someday it will to do the same for my swimming!
