Was great to see so many CTC members out in force today for what was a great race.
I took the opportunity to race alongside my sister-in-law who was competing in her first ever tri - to keep her company and motivated (and yes - we kept draft legal on the bike!!!)
How was everyone else's race?

Andrew,
I thought I saw someone that resembled you while I was on the run but never thought it could be you!
I did the long course. GREAT course.
Just found out Rob was there as well.

Marie
From who I spoke with - the following CTC members were there racing
Rob, Andy Eastlake, Dan and Leah, you and I
(sorry if I missed anyone)
Was I on the run course too when you saw me?
I was running with my sister in law for her first ever race - we ran the whole way for themost part - although she did need to stop several times and we walked maybe 300 yards in total across different parts of the course.
It was a great race - a lot of fun - great course - well attended too!

I'm in agreement with everyone else, Alum Creek was a great race. Wonderful course, beautiful day and well organized. I wish they were all like that.
Jen, I think you mentioned something about 'freaking out' in the open water in a race. I did the same thing 2 weeks ago at Edinboro but after an open water swim last week, I was good to go yesterday. Sometimes a little confidence goes a long way. Didn't help with speed too much though. Oh well - the goal is to finish.
