Hi! I just joined and I am planning on doing my first triathlon on July 22nd (sprint). I am looking forward to meeting other club members.
I have a question - I am a little confused about training days and locations. Can someone clarify what the latest schedule is for swim, bike and run training (particularly the running, as it seems to change weekly). Thanks!

Hi Brandi! Welcome to the club. On the club homepage, you can see a table that explains what's going on training-wise for each day. Might I interest you in the Newbies Open Water Swim on Monday evening at 6? There's a wide variety of training options on all sides of town, so I'm not sure where you are located, but hopefully you can find a few that fit your schedule!

The Wednesday night run does change weekly. I know it is weird, but it helps me accommodate my downtown crowd and my trail running crowd. For the next 7 weeks, there will be a group running downtown every Wednesday night, but my co-worker is leading it and I won't be there every other week. To know where I am for sure, just check the main page weekly or this forum (I do post a reminder each week).

Thanks everyone! I am an east sider (Cleveland Heights), so I will probably join the downtown run. Unfortunately, I cant join the open water swim on Monday, because I am traveling for work, but I will be on the lookout for the next one. I was a competitive swimmer growing up, but I know that open water is a whole new ballgame, especially this "spotting" thing. Thanks - and I look forward to meeting all of you!
