Tim, wasn't that your prediction for Ironman USA? How did that work out for ya?
I recommend George Vale for Ironman Coach of the Year. If I have a poor showing at Ironman Florida after having completed the Desoto TTT and Ironman USA earlier this year, I might just have to hire George and fly him down here once a week to coach me to a better finishing time.

Nathan,
I am really flattered by your offer to coach you. However, I am sure there are several LOCAL qualified coaches in Miami to help you achieve your goals of a better finishing time. My IM training program, although self taught, is well over 8-10 hours per week.
If not, I am sure you can get one of those on-line programs.
Hey, Tim- When Nathan beets his IMLP time, can he qualify for one of your sweatshirts?

Nathan for your next Ironman you could use www.halhigdon.comI think the guy is older than my grandfathers father but he knows his Sh*t and best off its free.. He hasnt done an Ironman yet but his website quotes "If I did do one I wouldnt train more than 5 hours a week, that would aggravate my prosthetic knees" The guys a legend! and he's funny too! give it a shot !! Andrew..Thanks for the words of encouragement..Wish you were going buddy! Its one of the reasons I was psyched to do this race..Thought we would be drinking a VB after the race. Oh well...Next year!

I think I did a modified version of the Hal Higdon training program when I did my first marathon.
Who is Peter Callaghan? Please post a link with your IM finishing times.

George, I thought Peter Callaghan was your alias (kind of like Rob van Winkle's is Vanilla Ice) and that you were just trying to stir up a little controversy. I guess when words are put on the forum, outsiders are unable to detect the sarcasm behind the words.
Thanks for the kind words Chris and Charlie. Chris, I will do my best not to TTT the finish in Florida. As for the pop-tarts, I have ditched them in favor of more pretzels.
