The Trail of the Month for April is the Buckeye Trail from the Jaite Wayside Parking Lot off of Highland Rd. to Blue Hen Falls
You will have to run the road or cut through the trail across the street from the parking lot to get to Snowville Rd.
The Buckeye Trail will be on your left hand side less than a ¼ mile from Riverview Rd.
Enjoy the first hill off of Snowville Rd. on this section of the trail!

Fall 2006 Training Group Kick-Off Meeting
Spring has just arrived, but we are already talking fall!!!
The Vertical Runner Fall 2006 Training Group Kick-Off Meeting will be on Wednesday, April 26th at 7:00pm at the New Hudson Library
A representative from the Akron Marathon will be in attendance to speak about the plans for 2006 and to answer your questions about the event
Whether you are looking to participate in the marathon or the team relays our training group has a place for you!!!

Targeted events include River Run Half Marathon, Buckeye Half Marathon, and Towpath Marathon

Cleveland Marathon and Half Marathon Preparation Run
Sunday, April 23rd will be our second fully aided group run for those of you training for the Cleveland Marathon or Half Marathon
This group run offers a 10 mile, 14 mile, 18 mile, 20 mile, and 22 mile option
The group run will begin at 7:00am from Lock 29 in Peninsula
Put this group run on your calendars, because this is one you do not want to miss!
Trail Running 101
The Trail Running 101 Group will meet on Monday, April 24th
We will meet at the Kendall Lake Parking Lot and the group run will begin at 6:00pm
The group will normally meet every Monday night and the location will change from month to month
This is a great group run for all beginner trail runners and for those of you looking to learn the area trails
We will run for 45 minutes to 1 hour and the group run will offer all different paces
