Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!
The swim clinic at Case!!!
Some details about the swim clinic on Sunday
Time: 1:30-3:30 at the Donnell pool at Case (in the Veale Center)
I've put an annotated map online at home.cwru.edu/~sry/clinicmap.jpg
-The big red X is the Veale Center, where I believe Angie has agreed to stand at the entrance beforehand to direct people inside.
-Parking: the number 1 is the Veale parking garage, where you can pay to park. The number 2 is a commuter parking lot where you can park for free, but run the risk of a parking ticket (they usually don't ticket on weekends, but this isn't true 100% of the time)
-The Adelbert road bridge is closed to traffic, but you can still walk across it if you want
If you have any questions about directions the day of you can call me at (216)509-7412 or Alison at (517)930-3355. Questions beforehand: sry@cwru.edu or post them here
Format:
We're pretty flexible as far as what we're going to do. We'd like to talk a little before we start, so if you want to come a little before 1:30, that would be fantastic so we can chat a little about what you guys want to get out of this.
We're planning on going over some freestyle drills and trying to correct a lot of common stroke errors. We're also willing to help with other strokes (which are always a good idea to throw in sometimes), and training issues such as flip turns, open water issues such as sighting, etc.
We can chat a little about how to write effective swimming workouts too. It's all based on what you guys want to do, so come with some ideas.
See you all Sunday
