As you well know, the nights are long and the days are short through the winter months. Downtown Cleveland remains well-lit in the evening, so it provides for a safer place to run at night. Samantha, Suzi (maybe) and I will be running in downtown Cleveland every Wednesday night (except for 11/23) through at least the end of December starting at 6 PM from a downtown location (e-mail me at ctcnewbies@yahoo.com for exact location details and to RSVP).
Anyone is welcome to join us. If you work downtown too, then it is a good opportunity to get some fitness prior to the commute home. We'll drop you off at your parking facility, so you won't have to run alone. If you work or live near downtown, then you will be heading against rush hour, so the traffic isn't too bad. Just let me know if you are interested. All are welcome!

I bartend every Wed. at AJ Roccos(816 Huron). It is non smoking and very runner friendly. I can make water and pretzles available for the Pre/post run. Parking sucks during Gateway events. aside from that it is great. Charlie.

Charlie,
That is great! Our starting/finishing point isn't too far from there and there is plenty of available, cheap parking. Sam and I will stop by for a visit tomorrow night. Anybody want to join us?

Jen,
Are you guys planning on running tomorrow? If so, what time? What distance? I am in town this week and was thinking about maybe joining you guys for a jog. Let me know the details so I can see if I can squeeze it in my schedule. Thanks, Fred

Fred,
Not this week unfortunately. We are running the Turkey Trot on Thursday morning, so figured we'd take Wednesday night off.
We will be running every Wednesday in December starting at 6 PM from 1100 Superior Avenue. We typically go about 5 miles.

Well, the weather may not be as balmy as today, but we'll still be running outside in downtown Cleveland on Wednesday night at 6 PM. Email me or post here if you'd like to join us. Be dressed for possible snow and wind!

Hi Jen: I work in the building right next to where you start the runs downtown but can't make it on Wednesday nights. Tuesdays and/or Thursdays are better for me. If anyone is interested just send me an e-mail. I have been known to go out in some pretty nasty weather so "all weather" runners take note! Matt

Anyone interested in joining me this Wednesday night? My ever faithful Wednesday night training partner, Samantha, is off to Belize for the week.

We get together at 6 PM in the lobby of 1100 Superior Avenue in downtown Cleveland. We generally run for an hour at around a 9:30-10:00 pace.

Just a reminder to come join us Wednesday night if you'd like. The forecast is for snow and wind, but that won't stop us! ;D
Hope to see you there!
