We had 8 competitors on what was a beautiful morning to do some speed work.
Riders went off at 60 second intervals and times and average speeds are shown below.
The course was 6.75 miles in length - with the group split into two - those completing the 6.75 and those completing the 13.5 miles (2 loops)
The event was incident free and hopefully those participating found it a worthwhile training event.
One loop participants:
David - 19.30 mins - Ave speed - 20.98 mph Roger - 19.33 mins - Ave Speed - 20.95 mph Lou - 18.49 mins - Ave Speed - 21.90 mph Marc - 20.07 mins - Ave Speed - 20.17 mph Chester - 20.22mins - Ave Speed - 20.03mph Jen - 21.00 mins - Ave Speed - 19.28mph
Two Loop Participants
Eric 37.07 mins - Ave Speed - 21.85mph Brent 34.20 mins - Ave Speed - 23.68mph
All very fast times and a job well done by all participants.
News to follow for next weekends Duathlon day - later this weekend.
Thanks again to all
Andrew

Thanks to Andrew and the rest of the volunteers for setting this up and keeping an eye on the intersections for us. I had fun. It's good to feel the pain sometimes. We'll have to do it again in the spring to see if the new trainer helped!! Thanks again.

Thanks to Andrew, Matt and Alan for watching the intersections and timing. Everyone did a great job, had fun with everyone.
Brent, you better work on your disk wheel sounds over the winter. You almost had me convinced.
