Great news - we have been able to secure an
opportunity for New Vision Cycling to hold a special
"Pre Holiday Trainer Session" for CTC members.
If you are not familure with New Vision
www.newvisioncycling.com - this is the brain child
of Dave Harner (CTC Member) and Pete Gladden (Coach)
who discussed their offering with us at the October
LC meeting. I had the chance to test ride the 2
hour trainer session and was blow away! The work
out was definitely challenging (but like any trainer
ride you can self regulate the intensity) - but more
importantly the coaching aspect and technical
ridding instruction were first rate. I walked away
from this class learning that I have a long way to
go to improve my peddle stroke and to become a
better cyclist.
We will be holding a 2 hour ride on Saturday 24
December in West Lake (at the US Speed Skating
Offices just off route 90) from 8 - 10 a.m.. I realise
this may not be the very best date for everyone.
However if you are in town and want a chance to burn
off some of those per-holiday calories plan to attend.
You will need your bike, trainer, water bottles, cycling clothes, trainer bloc, and heart rate monitor (optional).
There is a $10 charge from New Vision for taking
this class - very reasonable and by far the best $10
I have spent on cycling coaching EVER.
PLEASE RSVP TO ME VIA E-MAIL BEFORE 21 DECEMBER -
