On the bike? Who would like to earn about training with POWER? Is there interest in setting up a specific thread devoted to this issue? Who has a Computrainer and uses it for more than just ridding the courses?
POWER is THE hot topic on the bike of the past few years but it is also confusing and requires special gear.
So maybe we can get an idea who is using this new technique and what expertise is out there.
Other suggestions?

Got a computrainer last January and follow the Mark Gorris Computrainer challenge workouts, as many others do. It definitely gives some good structure and super workouts throughout the winter. I really believe last year they helped immensely and hope to benefit even more from it. I work way harder with it following his workouts than I even did in a group trainer setting. There is no cheating!

I have just started with this.
2 points.
1. I can see and have already found that this is vital to getting stronger on the bike
2. it is alot to grasp and understand when coming in with zero knowledge
so yes have a special thread for this.
Ed Slovenkay has helped me alot also Eric Banks, Sean Guilbert and some others.
I wasted 4 years winter training spinning mindlessly not realizing how important that how hard you pedal and knowing what that is makes all the difference. My FTP has gone up alot since starting.

The Power Meter Handbook by Joe Friel is very informative on the subject as is Training and Racing With A Power Meter by Hunter Allen and Andrew Coggan. I can tell you from experience that merely having a power meter on the bike and displaying a number (in watts) means very little until you understand what the numbers mean. Everything I have ever read on the subject all say that you need to download the data and review it. Now in the winter is the perfect time to learn how to upload data from the power meter head unit or the computrainer. I'm happy to answer any questions. I don't consider myself the expert, but I've used several power meters and head units and have familiarity with the software
