CTC Peeps,
Now that we are in to the thick of racing season we are getting closer to that end of season "A" race. For many, this is the Greater Cleveland Triathlon. This is also the "A" race for many of the areas younger competitors. Last year the 7-10 age group was quite competitive, but we are certain that this year things will heat up in the 11-14 AG as well!
The GCT Youth Triathlon is unique in the Cleveland region. This event gives the children the chance to see what all this swim/bike/run fuss is about. Perhaps they will even understand why we adults have adopted the triathlon lifestyle. Don't forget that there is an on course training session for the competitors as well! Those that attend the training session do not have to be registered for the race. Here are details:
GCT YOUTH TRIATHLON TRAINING SESSION:
Saturday, July 23 at 9:00 a.m.
Lot #17 at Headlands State Beach Park
COST: FREE!!! You to not have to be registered for the race to attend the training session!
GREATER CLEVELAND YOUTH TRIATHLON:
Saturday, August 6th at 8:00 a.m. [note date change from typo in original post]

We need volunteers for both the training session and Youth Triathlon. This event is hands down the most entertaining triathlon you can see. Stop out to volunteer at either event and join in the fun.
