Anyone else heading up to Race 4 Recovery Half Iron / Sprint this weekend? I'll be there racing the half.
Excited to see the water temps rising - should be a great temperature for swimming, especially in that part of Lake Erie.

Just signed up. The website said all roads on the bike course have been paved in the last 4 yrs...hopefully that's true! it was rough a few years ago.
Won't be up there until late Sat. night, so see you race morning.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
Looks like we'll have some nice weather - hopefully the winds stay calm - fighting the wind was hard on the 3rd bike loop in 2009 when I did this race.
Final race update from 3DisciplinesRacing: Confirmed water temp is 64. Weather report is looking great, 76 on Sunday with about 6mph. winds. Probably the best forecast we have ever had for this event.

Nice !! Good luck folks. Try and get the dude with tatoos to start doing drugs and boozin' it up again!
Hope there aren't any dead fish on the beach to greet you all this year like we had a few years back...

As Matt said, I'm doing it as are Paula Kertes and Bridget Smith. I am hopeful that the forecast is true!
See you and Danielle Sunday Phil! Happy Anniversary!

Ummmmmm yeah it was quite a bit hotter than that - the lake did warm up to about 68 by Sunday morning which was nice - plenty of dead fish Mark and the water was disgusting, a lot of sediment/debris in the water, especially at entrance/exit...
