Also interesting note with regard to Boston marathon, there were lots of other huge performances at Boston from NE Ohio athletes that many of us know.
Men's Masters Team (Top 3 scored by official time.) 1. Whirlaway Racing Team (Massachusetts) 7:53:06 2. Cleveland Southeast Runners Club (Ohio) 7:55:58 Lee, Kam S 2:31:57 Godale, Mark 2:41:40 (not bad considering he ran 100k last weekend) Romanic, John P. 2:42:21 Satterfield, Alan 2:58:29 Shaheen, Matthew M. 3:04:37 Men's Masters Team (Top 3 scored by official time.)
------------------------ Elizabeth Hansen, our elite phenom starter, 3:00:46 Ken Hagan 3:08:33, 5 minute + PR! Barb Broad 3:19:01, age 60, 1st AG!

Chris Martino from Bike Authority & New Level Coaching also participated in the New Orleans 70.3 with Tim and I.
A canceled swim and headwinds made for a challenging day but for those considering a early half next year I would recomend this race. Plus New Orleans is a cool town - there is much more to the city than just Burbon Street.
