While the temperatures are getting cooler, activities for Cleveland Tri Club Members are heating up!

Sunday, December, 12th: CTC’s Third Annual Winter Banquet will be from 6-9 PM at The Flat Iron Café. This will be a time to reflect on the 2010 season. Members, prospective members and their guests are welcome! If you have not yet signed up (no problem), just send Janet your name and number ASAP. (janet_e1@yahoo.com)
Cost per person will be $23. This will include buffet style dinner as well as soft drinks, tea or coffee. There will also be a cash bar available. Reservations are required. To make your reservation, we are making it super easy this year. Reply to this forum thread with your name and number. We are not taking money ahead of this time this year. HOWEVER, when you come to the banquet, you must bring cash to cover your cost. Don’t miss out on what is ALWAYS a good time!
Saturday, December, 18th: Kona Viewing Party from 4-6 PM at Independence Mavis Winkles. Mavis Winkles is located in the tall Crown Centre building at the 77/Rockside Road Interchange. Come watch the big show with all your tri friends!
Sunday, December, 19th: CTC Indoor Tri at Akron Natatorium- This will be the first of four in CTC’s Indoor Tri Series. 8AM Registration, 8:30 AM Start.
Saturday, January 1st: Polar Bear Plunge: 11:30 AM Start, 12 Noon Plunge! Westlake Panini’s after to start the New Year off right with your good CTC friends! New for 2010, Polar Bear Plunge Commemorative T-Shirts![/b]

USAT National Club Challenge- The USAT NCC Challenge is a promotion put on by USA Triathlon to keep us motivated throughout the year. Tri Clubs across the country go head-to-head to see who can log the most training miles during the competition and it has already begun. Good news is you can still get in!!! You must be a CTC and USAT member to participate. Find out more about it on the CTC forum! It is a great way to get motivated to log some miles and support your club! Currently CTC only has filled 21 of our 75 spots. Every person counts! Sign up today. Email name, age and USAT number to janet_e1@yahoo.com.

Dates: Classes will start on Saturday, December 4 and continue through March 26
When: Every Saturday, 7:10 AM Set-Up, 7:30 AM Start, Duration: 2 Hour on Bicycle
OPTIONAL GROUP SWIM AFTER 45-60 min in duration
Cost: Twin. Fitness Cent Members: Free
Clev Tri Club: $7/class*, Everyone else: $10/class
Equipment: road or triathlon bike, stationary trainer, water bottles, a mat or towel for under your bicycle

Snakebite Racing 4Ride & Workout Spinning Classes
Location: 18524 DETROIT AVENUE LAKEWOOD, OHIO 44107
Dates: Classes will start on October 26th and end on December 14th.
When: Every Tuesday at 6:00pm for 8 weeks.
Duration: 75 and 90 minutes
Cost: Non-Snakebite Racing Team members would purchase one of the standard Ride + Workout class packages or pay $10 per class.
Equipment: Can bring your own bicycle / trainer, but it is recommended to utilize spinning bicycles already set-up which have SPD cleats / toe straps
Social After at Harry Buffalo Lakewood with generous food and drink discounts!
