I am looking for a Cleveland area primary care physician. Ideally, the doc would be on the east side, but that is not necessary. It is very important that the doctor be sensitive to endurance sports (i.e. LOTS of swim, bike, run mileage) and it would be an extra bonus if they were understanding of supplement use (herbs, vitamins, etc.)
So, who out there really likes their primary care doc?? Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

I currently dislike my PCP, but one of my Spin students who bikes, marathons, and has done Tri, likes Dr. Jessica Conway at Cleveland Clinic Westlake. Apparently Dr. Conway is a runner and understands endurance athletes. She's taking new patients, and I'm going to call over there myself. Phone number for the Clemens Rd., Westlake CCF location 440-899-5560 I know it's a bit far, but she did come recommended.

Brandon - I would recommend Dr Shah 126 W Streetsboro St Hudson OH 44236 Primary: 330 342-4612
He is board certified in family practice and sports med - does a q/a on the vertical runner web site and is well known in the akron running and endurance sports community - also a many time Boston marathoner (about a 2:30 type runner) - and a great guy

Love my PCP - Dr. Jim Turbett in Mentor. He's a runner and is very experienced with endurance athletes. Should you consider trying him, I'm happy to provide his contact info. FWIW, I think he's the bomb - a super doc, a diligent listener, and a quiet, humble man (in his late 40's I'd guess), not the kind of doc that just talks at you.
