Yes, sorry, that was a poor description.

For a second, I was afraid WTC bought this race too. A quick internet search has assured me that is not the case. Whew.
I haven't done this race, but it is on my list of 'must do' races, especially while it is still independent. I've heard nothing but good things and it is within driving distance. Word is that it is a tough course. I think that spending the entire weeekend in the finger lakes sounds awesome..throw in a bunch of triathletes and a scenic race and it just gets better.

This is an awesome race. Great area, great layout, nice course. Might be the best tri-experience I have ever had in 7 years of racing. We stayed in a B and B last year. planning on doing this race in 2011 also.

I have to second Ken's comments, the most I have completely enjoyed a race in 5 years of racing. I plan on doing it again in 2011 as well.

I did musselman in 2009. The bike course is nice except for a 6 mile run through a very poorly paved area. I got 2 flats. The run is pretty hilly. The ice baths afterwards are nice though. I camped 10 miles down the road and had no issues. overall it's a nice race.
