CTC Peeps, I wanted to make you all aware of a public workshop organized by the Ohio Dept. of Transportation that is taking place tomorrow in downtown. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR CYCLISTS TO ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP TO VOICE THEIR OPINIONS AND ENCOURAGE ODOT TO INCREASE BIKE INFRASTRUCTURE AND MAKE OUR STREETS SAFER FOR BICYCLES. Please consider attending if you are able. Here are some details about the event: What: Go Ohio Public Workshop When: Wednesday, November 3rd. Registration at 5:30. Workshop from 6-8 p.m. Where: Crowne Plaza Cleveland City Center, downtown Why: Because you want the streets to be safe for cycling. The Ohio Dept of Transportation's public meetings help decide what ODOT's priorities should be. What should Ohio's future transportation system focus on? How can transportation investments impact our economy and our communities? Attendees will "vote" using electronic clickers, so it is crucial that people who want more emphasis on safe bicycling and walking in our communities show up at the meeting.
