A lot happened this weekend that is new to me in this sport - only at Wildflower! 10 - got my bag ripped apart by TSA 'cause they thought my biking shoes were "loaded" 9 - climbed 5 continuous miles on the bike. 8 - realized how much I hate chip n' tar roads - especially for 56 miles straight. 7 - camped in a backpackers one person tent - d**n they are small. 6 - was reduced to walking several times on brutal climbs. 5 - went over 5 hours in a 70.3 race 4 - watched Reddy race while injured. 3 - realized I will never be a great biker - not skinny enough 3 - peed while riding the bike 2 - brewed coffee in an omlett pan 1 - bonged a beer while racing (mile 8 of the run) I love this sport!

Does indeed sound like a great weekend! I think a cozy 1 person backcountry tent is much nicer than being by yourself in a big ass family tent....with no family.
Perhaps you could include a demo of #3 and #1 at one of our clinics this year? I need some practice :-0
Racing in those mountains must be a fine way to cap off such a busy month of April. Very well done!
