Hey Newbies,
On March 6th, at 1pm we will be hosted at Cleveland State's spinning studio for an hour long bike workout with a triathlon video projected throughout. It will be learning some bike intervals / workouts to use throughout the season (outdoor riding should be right around the corner at that point), talking about bike setup and equipment questions, as well as a general Q&A session for any type of triathlon questions.
This workout will double as a recruiting session for any CSU students who are interested in the university's triathlon team to debut in the fall.
If you are interested in attending, please reply here to make sure we have enough spots. There are only about 15 bikes in the studio, so get your spot now.
This will be the first event to kick off the Newbie activities for 2010. Keep your eyes open for the full schedule which will be posted soon.

This is the first year I'm considering myself a "triathlete". Swimming is coming along and I'm feeling fit and ready to take advantage of the group training sessions. Need to make sure I'm ready for our big race in August

Adam,
Then again, my swimming sucks! In Waikiki during the Valentines Day Biathlon I was running in 6th place into the transition, and then once I got into the ocean, I was passed by 19 others......
Ended up 25th out 85 plus folks.........
