The intensity was high... The men's race came down to half a point... 6,000 gallons of Gatorade were mixed... 1 gallon was consumed... Unless you were there, you have no idea WTF I'm talking about. First, Congrats to our winners: Women's Overall: Sharon Yates Men's Overall: Tim Edwards Women's 30-39: Amie Scarpetti Women's 40-49: Tiffany Heindel Men's 20-29: Matt Oravek Men's 30-39: Tim McManamon Men's 50-59: Roger Miller Full results to be posted soon. Second: Thanks to the Macedonia Rec Center for hosting the event. Their facility is very conducive to these types of events. Third: We had a TON of volunteers for this - gave a few of us the opportunity to compete. Thanks to all of you - your names are now in the end-of-year raffle for a free membership next year. Forth: The ladies kicked the sh** out of the men in the swim leg. Finally: Thanks to Ben Marilia for coordinating the event. Rock on.

Sounds like a great morning!!! It is unfortunate that I had to miss it and be subjected to the torture known as threshold testing.
Congrats to the winners and another BIG THANK YOU to the volunteers who came to help out!!!!!!
Looking forward to the next one at Case!

Gotta say, my first indoor tri, and I had a great time! (despite some technical difficulties with a $% treadmill that insisted on increasing incline every 2 minutes and telling me I was ready for cool down 3 times, dropping me from 7.8 to 4!! ARGH!!!) A resounding echo of BIG THANK YOU to our volunteers!!! You guys rock! It is not lost on any of us that YOU get up at ungodly hours on your Sunday morning, not to race or compete yourselves, but to ALLOW US TO DO IT!! THAT is amazing!!! I hope you enjoy volunteering as much as I do - I truly do love to work these things, but I really wanted to compete and I'm thankful we were more than adequately supported. I would have switched to volunteer if it came down to the crunch, but I was happy to be able to compete - I got in a decent work out, I met some new friends, and I put more faces with names that I recognize here on the forum. I had a super time and look forward to doing a second in February (JCC is holding it) and our (CTC) next one in March.
