Hello all!
I am looking for team members for a 3 day cross country relay race. I learned of this race from a fellow runner I met at a work conference and he raved about it as a fun and challenging race. Here are the details:
When: July 16-18 2010
Where: Northern Michigan, Rogers City to McKinley to Grayling to Empire
Relay Size: 10 people max
Distance: ~270 miles, 24 mile minimum per person
Cost: $110 (assuming 10 person relay team)
Accommodations: either hotel or camping
The final details about the length and difficultly of each leg of the race will not be available until later this year. You will have to run twice at least one of the three days.
We also need to provide 2-3 support vehicles to transport runners to exchange stations, and 4-wheel drive vehicles would be best.
Please let me know if you are interested so we can get a team together before the race fills up, because it will!
