Winter officially started this week on 12/21! So celebrate that the days are now getting longer!!!
While we had the opportunity to reflect on 2009 at the Winter Banquet, it is now time to look ahead to 2010 and in keeping with tradition, that means kicking off the year with a Polar Bear Swim! Mark your calendars now for Cleveland 7th Annual Polar Bear Swim!
Date: Friday, January 1
Time: High Noon
Place: Huntington Beach, Bay Village, OH
Post swim gathering & warm-up venue: Panini’s Bar and Grill in Westlake
This event kicks off CTC’s triathlon year as many people are now getting back into training after some rest time around the holidays. It also is the start of the Club’s membership drive, which lasts until the end of March. We will also be taking membership renewals and new memberships at the CTC booth which will be set-up there! Plan to renew now as we are offering a $5 discount throughout the month of January ($20 early bird, $25 after 1/31)
Let the countdown begin to 2010!

just wondering if anybody can take the plunge tommorrow? or do you have to be affiliated with the club?

We only ask that everyone (even if not affiliated with the club) sign a waiver.

Two options-
1. Print, sign and drop off form at CTC booth on beach which can be downloaded here (http://www.clevetriclub.com/files/2010_cleveland_triathlon_club_waiver.pdf)
OR
2. Just stop by CTC booth and we will have the waivers already printed off ready to sign.

That interview/interviewer was LAME!!! They didn't even show the beach or the people running into the water! LAME!!! The link Durno posted was much better ... I wish 19 news would have done a better job of sharing the ambiance!!!!

I used my video camera to get about 4 or 5 minutes of footage. If I can ever figure out how to get it on here, I'll post it!
