I will be doing a number of these races this year. Last year I did the one in Willoughby and it was a blast. hardest thing I have done in my life but a great workout. If you do not have a cyclocross bike-- no worries--- use your MB like me. You will not win but will have fun and get a awesome workout.

Like Angie said, it is redline the entire time and is a great workout. We have an advantage though that we run and most cyclists that race cross try to run a little bit in August to train for it. I have raced dozens of these and they are a lot of fun, definitely help you on your bike handling (great asset for triathletes to learn), and let you get dirty (mud, I mean!). Definitely get out to some and give it a try if you have an MTB or like a few of us cross bikes!
