Best off luck to all. Especially the first time IM'ers!!!! I enjoyed reading about all your training and how you worked through all the pain and suffering to get to the starting line. Thats what its all about. Cya in KY

It's ambitious, but I've never been sensible....i mean conservative....in my approach to this ridiculous endeavor.

Nice ! Just for that - everytime I see you, I WILL drink, simply to remind you that you are suffering and I am not !! That's a start...

I think we need to do the gambling gig for the race....makes it kind of fun. We will all pick and document our times....$10 to play......closest 3 get some cash.

Dear Mark D.,
I am very disappointed that you are having trouble deciding on calling your shot for IMKY. After watching your performance at IMWI in 08' I would think that all iron fans would be duplicating your ultimate fandom.
Nothing screams more to an IM racer than a warm shot of Jack Daniels being poured from the ever smooth lid of a CTC water bottle. Just the shear thought makes the 26.2 mile run seem to go by as easy and smooth as a Ratt concert at House of Blues.
Just remember that when you are finished with that water bottle a true bottle of Jack daniels will be able to fill up another so you can continue through the evening hours.
Best part is that you can pull that bottle out from underneath your car seat and drink it at car temperature. Jack Daniels is a two water bottle excursion because one is not enough during an IM event.
We look forward to you making this easy decision again.

I will not be sporting compression socks on the IM course. Hopefully I will be able to run most of the 26.2 anyway (looking old school in 'short' socks) and win a visor in - 11:24. Durno, here is a link for you: www.kybourbontrail.com/#
