Saw Durno's post so I'll follow Mike's lead: The Sweetcorn Challange starts and finishes in Richfield, Ohio. You get to eat corn afterwards and you also get a bag (or two) of corn to take with you to enjoy at home. It is a bike touring event which means it is not timed. On the century, there were stops about every 20-25miles which really broke up the event. Here is a summary of the event: Start - down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-down-down ....rest....up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down......whew rest......holy crap up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-up-up-up-up-up-up-up-up-up-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down....rest rest rest....up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up....FINISHED!! Yeah - that's a pretty accurate summary

Remind me next year to throw some swimming stuff in my jersey pocket for that third rest area

Sounds about right. I couldn't count how many times we made a turn and I was looking straight up at a hill and started swearing again. Good times.
We definitely need to go for a swim at the third water stop next year. Although, I don't think I'd be getting back on my bike after that.
