This past Saturday I participated in an endurance race at Nelsons Ledges . It was the first time racing a motorcycle in 3 years. Unfortunately at 1hr and 45min I wreaked. After a trip to the ER I was informed on Sunday that I broke the end of my fibula and also fractured my heel bone. I am so bummed right now. I have trained extremely hard leading up to this season. I had 4 sprints planned this year. Now I will not be able to walk for approximately 6 weeks. The only good news is the orthopedic center put a removable cast on so that I can swim. Thank God for that. I guess there is always next year.

Your first mistake was going to Nelson Ledges. I grew up near there. The only reason people go there is to get high at the quarry !!
Seriously - sorry to hear about the injury. That sucks... now get in the pool !

Mate that sucks! Very sorry to hear.
Become a beast in the water now though! Will pay dividends for the rest of your tri career.
