I'm unbelievably tired and ready to crash - but, since I have today's events fresh on the mind, I'll throw out the some subject highlights and let everyone else tell the stories: Chris - Crossed the finish line before the first (and only) pro. John - Winner of the CTC wager Eric - Second place CTC wager Rob R. - The good samaritan and 3rd place in the CTC wager Mark - Got boned then almost lost a tooth Aussie - Crash, burn, then PR Phil - PR by 1:25 (make that 1 hour, 25 minutes) Danielle - 90 minutes of stress-free fun in Hill-Jack central Ryan - White caps or no white caps, its all the same Jason - IT can hurt Ray - Exceeding expectations in 1st Half All that and 7 smelly dead fish make for a great event !!

Durno - looking great in spite of his inherent ugliness

Durno- You forgot to mention Ray, who cranked out his 1st HIM 30 minutes faster than his CTC wagered finish time.

Good job everyone!! If we could only get Rob's swim classes to take place out there in the rough waters of Lake Erie.
The race was a B race for me but still a new PR. I thought the race was well run and well supported. Good time seeing all.

Not to hi-jack the post, but Rob had mentioned having an OW swim day this summer for us in Lake Erie, just not sure when.
