Is anyone else headed to Clay's Park this Sunday, June 7, for the triathlon? It's on our Cheetah Race Series. I'll be there (trying to improve my bike and run time from last year.)

I'm thinking about jumping in for this one since my foot is ok but I haven't been in ow yet. I know it's an inland lake. Any idea of water temp? Any of you wearing wetsuit even though the swim is short? I'm a weather wuss and I feel like it might be chilly coming out if the lake and jumping on the bike.

Jen, Last year the water was warm enough to go without a wetsuit, but I wore it anyhow. I hate being cold. Mine is just a shortie. (no arms and like shorts on the bottom) I don't know what the temp actually was though? I'm sure I'll wear my short wetsuit this weekend, too.

Jen - Champ Racing says the water was about 70 last year. I wore my wetsuit, not because it was cold, but because water wings and fins are illegal (and I suck)! Bring the wetsuit make the call to go sans or not that morning and just RACE!!
Kim - How come you don't want to improve your swim time?
So, see you ladies there.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am IN! I try to tell myself in these situations that you usually regret the things you don't do more than the ones you do!

Glad to hear!! It is too bad that after all that heckling you got from Brandon about racing and he is NOT going to race with us tomorrow. I think he is worried you might chick him ;o)
