I just found out about this event! The She Rocks triathlon (http://www.estevents.com/race-sherocks-1.htm)
This race is back in the area I used to live before moving to Cleveland and is actually taking place at the same park as one of my favorite races, the Waterloo Triathlon. It is a beautiful park and you get to run on trails, it is awesome.
Look at the celebrity wave. No actors or singers, just Olympians from all types of sports, how fun is that?
I think this would be totally fun and we should get a group of CTC ladies together and make a trip of it! If you are new to triathlon this could be a great first event, too.

Just another FYI about this event, if you sign up before Feb 10th it appears you also get a free pass into one of their tri clinics. I think I will be taking them up on that offer Alison

It appears that they extended the time frame for getting a into a tri clinic for free with registration. Now you have until April 4th.
I already signed up and will be at the clinic on April 5th and racing in the sprint on June 28th.
