I'm not sure who to direct this to or who decides this but I was curious about the summer training schedule for CTC....will it be the same as last year (i.e. Monday brick, Tues OW swim, etc) I wanted to know because I'm hoping to change my work schedule slightly. Any info would be great. Thanks!

I'm not an official CTC person or anything, but i imagine it will remain the same on the west side.
Reddy? You run most of these gigs, what say you?

Last year, if I remember right, for the workouts that Jen is referring to, those of you doing IM Moo sat around in a Lakewood Pub and decided the key workouts over beverages and wings. So, the question begs.... will the IMKY westsiders get together and do another calender dump to plan again in the same manner ??

though it is very early to put anything into stone - I'm sure we will have a BRICK and OPEN WATER SWIM on Monday and Tuesday nights on the Westside - which falls on whic day not sure of yet.
Wednesdays are reserved for the SPIN ride - so nothing else will be planned for that night
May put together a trail run on Thursday nights
I'm pretty sure there will be NO Friday night training activity - however at some point in March I'll put together an Epic Friday schedule.
We also had some Sat and Sun rides - but they were more ad hoc - though my guess is that we may well have a regular Sunday ride leaving from 5 Seasons Sports Club take shape in the spring time.

Any chance there will be morning swims at Columbia this summer? I think there was usually one on Thurs morning.

Thursday morning Columbia swim will DEFINATELY be ON. I will run it. there is nothing better than a morning wake-up swim in the lake. Let me know what time you prefer. Early in the season we will have to deal with light issues but let me know what you want.

I might be in for Thursday am because I start work later. I'd probably need to be finishing up by 8 or so. Just thought I'd answer since you asked

Thanks Angie! I love the Morning swims. Didn't we start around 6:30 last year?

The training schedule largely is dependent on what the training session leader chooses to do. I would suspect it will stay largely the same as last year.
If anyone else wishes to step up and lead a training session, please send me an email and I will get it added to the schedule. The best thing about leading a workout is that you get to pick the time, day and place that works best for you!

Love to Mike, but, I gotta get plenty of pool work in, so, between the evening OW swims and the Thursday AM OW swim, my OW schedule is booked...

I'd be willing to run the Munroe Falls swim on Mondays.

Craig, I have on my "to-do" list to buy my pass for Munroe Falls this week. I'm looking forward to the weather warming up so we can start!
