Willoughby South High Track Team Looking for Volunteers
Willoughby South High School Track Team and Coach Matt Luck (Ironman Finisher) are seeking volunteers to assist in a Nautica Charity Poker Festival. The Willoughby South High Boosters will be hosting the tournament from December 4th to December 7th at the Powerhouse in the Flats. The track team is responsible for getting volunteers on Sunday, December 7th.
They will need a total of 80 volunteers for the day.
Many of you who have participated in the Greater Cleveland Triathlon over the years will recognize the W.S. Track Team, as they assist us each year in the set up and tear down of the event venue. This is some of the most challenging work in the event business and they always seem to have a fun time doing it.
I would ask each of you to look at your calendar to see if you may be available to volunteer to work a 4 hour shift from either 2 – 7 or from 7 – 12 on Sunday, December 7th. While these are the assigned shifts we can use volunteers any time during the 2 – 12 time frame. If you can’t volunteer come out and gamble.
All the proceeds for the weekend will go to the Athletic Department at Willoughby South. The proceeds for Sunday, December 7, go directly to the Track Team!
Time to step up and give a little back to these kids!
